Wirecora has no accounts or payments. Calculator inputs stay in your browser. Wirecora does not sell your personal information and does not use advertising cookies.
1. Scope
This policy applies to wirecora.com. “Wirecora,” “we,” and “us” mean the independent Wirecora project, not a separate company.
2. Information we process
Your email address, message, and anything else you choose to include after opening a draft in your email app.
Infrastructure providers may process IP address, browser and device details, requested URLs, timestamps, and security events to serve and protect the site.
Band choices, values, and results are calculated in your browser. Wirecora does not receive them merely because you use a calculator.
3. Browser calculations, sharing, and downloads
Calculator work happens on your device. A share link places selected calculator state in the URL, so anyone with that URL can see those settings. Do not put private information in a shared URL.
Copy, image download, and device-share actions run only when you request them. Your browser, operating system, email app, or chosen sharing destination may apply its own privacy terms.
4. Analytics and external services
Cloudflare Web Analytics is loaded only when analytics is configured for the site. Cloudflare describes the service as privacy-first and says it does not collect or use visitors' personal data. The performance beacon can measure visits and page performance. If analytics is not configured, Wirecora does not add that script.
The YouTube link opens YouTube, and the contact form opens your email app. Those services receive information only when you choose to use them and operate under their own policies.
5. Use, sharing, and retention
Information is used to operate and secure Wirecora, answer messages, investigate corrections, and improve clarity and accessibility. We do not sell personal information or use it for behavioural advertising.
Limited information may be handled by hosting, security, analytics, or email providers, or disclosed when required by law or needed to protect rights and safety. Email and operational records are retained only as long as reasonably needed for those purposes and legal obligations.
6. Your choices and security
You can avoid sending email, remove calculator state from a shared URL, clear browser data, and decline to open external services. Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection by emailing hello@wirecora.com.
Reasonable safeguards are used, but no website or email system is completely secure. Do not send secrets or sensitive information that Wirecora does not need.
7. Children
Wirecora is a general-audience electronics resource and is not designed to collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child sent personal information.
8. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when data practices materially change. The revision date above identifies the current version.
