Wirecora has no user accounts or payments today. Calculator inputs are processed in your browser. We do not sell your personal information, and the current site does not use advertising cookies.
1. Scope
This policy applies to wirecora.com, including its tools, reference pages, and labeled preview or design-study routes. “Wirecora,” “we,” and “us” refer to the operator of the Wirecora website.
It does not control third-party websites that you choose to visit from Wirecora.
2. Information we process
Your name, email address, message, and anything else you choose to include when you email Wirecora.
Hosting systems may process IP address, browser and device details, requested URLs, timestamps, and security logs when serving the site.
Band choices, values, and generated results are calculated in the browser. A share link includes the selected state in its URL.
Cloudflare Web Analytics measures page visits, traffic sources, device categories, and page performance. Cloudflare states that this service does not use cookies or collect personal information.
What we do not ask for: account passwords, payment card data, government identifiers, or sensitive personal records.
3. Browser storage and sharing
Local preferences
Some interfaces may use local storage to remember a visual preference or local-only preview status. That data stays in your browser unless you clear it. In the preserved early-access design preview, an entered email address is checked in the browser and discarded; only a joined-status flag is stored locally, and no signup is submitted. Wirecora does not use advertising cookies, and Cloudflare Web Analytics does not set analytics cookies.
Share links
When you use a calculator share link, the selected component state is encoded in the URL. Anyone who receives that URL can see those settings, so do not place private information in a shared link.
Clipboard, downloads, and device sharing
Copy, image download, and native sharing features use browser or device capabilities at your request. Your operating system or chosen destination may apply its own privacy terms.
4. How we use information
- To operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and secure the website.
- To respond to messages, investigate reported errors, and continue conversations you start.
- To understand whether core product interactions work and improve clarity and accessibility.
- To comply with law, enforce our terms, and protect people, Wirecora, or the public where necessary.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, these activities rely on providing a service you request, our legitimate interests in operating and improving Wirecora, consent where requested, or compliance with legal obligations.
6. Retention
Contact messages are kept only as long as reasonably necessary to answer, maintain appropriate business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Security, request, and aggregate analytics records are retained according to operational need and provider settings.
Calculator state held in a URL or browser storage remains under your control. You can delete shared URLs, clear site data in your browser, or close the page.
7. Your choices and privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection to certain processing, and to withdraw consent where consent applies.
Email hello@wirecora.com with “Privacy request” in the subject. We may need enough information to verify the request and identify the relevant records. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
Because Wirecora does not sell personal information, there is no sale to opt out of.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the information involved. No internet service or email system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please do not send secrets or sensitive personal information that Wirecora does not need.
9. Children
Wirecora is a general-audience electronics resource and is not designed to collect personal information from children. If you believe a child submitted personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
10. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when Wirecora’s data practices materially change—for example, before launching accounts, payments, or third-party advertising technology. The effective date at the top shows the current version.
