Wiring board
Step 1 of 5: Join the plus of the supply to the push button.
Tap the pin with the ring, then the pin the ring jumps to. You can also drag from one pin to the other.
- Nothing is joined yet: tap a pin, then another pin, to run a wire between them.
You can also press and hold a push button on the board itself.
4 parts, 0 wires. Drag from one pin to another to join them with a wire, or tap one pin and then the other. Tap a part to select it, then drag it.
On a small screen: press + for a closer view, then swipe the board to move around.
- Join the plus of the supply to the push button.
- Join the push button to the resistor.
- Join the resistor to the long leg of the LED.
- Join the short leg of the LED to the minus of the supply.
- Hold the push button down and watch the LED.
Tap a part on the board to turn it, delete it or see its pins. Tap a wire to recolour it or move it.
- Nothing is joined yet: tap a pin, then another pin, to run a wire between them.
Worked out with typical part values, and an LED is taken to keep its typical voltage. Real parts differ a little. Nothing is timed, so a coil's kick, a charging capacitor, the extra current a motor takes as it starts, or a circuit that keeps swinging back and forth is not shown.
The PNG is 2904 × 2323 pixels. Both files carry the part pictures inside them. A link holds the board itself in its address: nothing is sent to a server.
About the wiring board
Lay real parts on the board and join their pins with wires. The board works the circuit out as you wire it: an LED lights, a relay switches, and plain words say what happens and what is wrong.
It is new, and it is not finished. It works with typical part values, and nothing is timed: capacitors, the 555 timer and Arduino programs are not in it yet. Your board is saved on your device only.
