Essential boundary

Wirecora is an educational calculation and visualization aid. Verify results against the physical component, its current datasheet, proper test equipment, and qualified judgment before relying on them.

1. Agreement

By accessing or using Wirecora, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

If you use Wirecora for an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these terms for that organization. If you are not legally able to agree to these terms, a parent, guardian, or authorized representative must supervise your use.

2. Educational use

Wirecora provides electronics calculators, component visuals, reference content, generated images, and explanations for educational and informational purposes. Results are produced from the inputs and rules available to the tool; they are not project-specific engineering advice, certification, inspection, or approval.

A deterministic calculation can still be wrong for your real circuit if an input, orientation, component marking, environmental condition, model, or assumption is wrong.

3. Safety and verification

You must independently verify a result before buying parts, powering a circuit, modifying equipment, or relying on it in a design. Use the current manufacturer datasheet and appropriate measurement practices.

Not for high-risk use: Do not rely on Wirecora as the sole basis for mains or high-voltage work, lithium battery charging or protection, medical devices, life-safety systems, automotive or aviation safety functions, hazardous environments, or any application where an error could cause injury, death, fire, or major property damage.

Disconnect power before changing wiring. Follow applicable laws, standards, workplace rules, and equipment instructions. Consult a qualified professional when the risk or uncertainty exceeds your competence.

4. Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate inputs and select the correct component type, band count, units, and operating conditions.
  • Check for damaged, faded, counterfeit, unusually marked, or out-of-spec components.
  • Use suitable instruments, protective equipment, components, and power limits.
  • Review shared results before passing them to another person.
  • Use Wirecora only where you are permitted and competent to do so.

5. Acceptable use

You may use Wirecora for lawful personal, educational, and commercial work, subject to these terms. You may not:

  • Interfere with the site, bypass access or security controls, introduce malicious code, or probe systems without written authorization.
  • Use automation in a way that degrades the service or ignores published technical controls.
  • Misrepresent a Wirecora result as a certification, professional approval, or guarantee.
  • Use the service to violate law, intellectual-property rights, privacy rights, or the safety of another person.
  • Remove attribution or falsely imply that Wirecora endorses a product, organization, or design.

6. Shared links and downloads

Calculator share links may store selected values and component state in the URL. Anyone with the link can inspect that state. Do not include confidential or personal information in a URL you share.

Downloaded diagrams and reference images are aids. Rendering, scaling, colour reproduction, printer settings, and later edits can alter how they appear. Recheck the underlying values rather than relying only on an image.

7. Intellectual property

Wirecora’s site design, branding, original text, graphics, software, and arrangement are owned by Wirecora or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. Electronics formulas, standards, component facts, and third-party marks remain subject to their own legal status and ownership.

You may link to public pages and use ordinary calculator outputs for your own projects. These terms do not grant a right to copy the site, redistribute its source or content as a competing service, or use Wirecora branding in a way that suggests endorsement.

You retain ownership of information you send in a message. If you voluntarily provide product feedback, you allow Wirecora to use the ideas to improve the service without an obligation to compensate you.

8. Third-party services

Wirecora may link to standards bodies, manufacturers, datasheets, browsers, email providers, or other third-party services. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. A link is provided for context and does not guarantee availability, accuracy, compatibility, or endorsement.

9. Availability

We may add, change, suspend, or remove features and content. We aim to keep useful public links stable, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, permanent storage, or compatibility with every browser, device, component, or standard revision.

Routes labeled as previews, concepts, prototypes, or design studies are non-production demonstrations. Their references to AI, saving, sharing, exporting, simulation, or early access are not service commitments and may not perform those actions.

You are responsible for keeping copies of any result or image you need.

10. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wirecora is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation.

Nothing in these terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wirecora and its operators, contributors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, business, opportunity, components, or equipment arising from use of or inability to use the service.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law. These limits do not apply where prohibited or to liability that cannot legally be limited.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the service, law, or risk boundary changes. The date at the top identifies the current version. Continued use after updated terms take effect means you accept the revised terms, where permitted by law.

13. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent to hello@wirecora.com or prepared through the contact page.
